Blog Challenge: Day 15 Your Dreams




To me dreams are something that you work towards not something your subconscious is trying to tell you. Yes I have a psychology degree (so glad that's coming in useful these days) but I don't believe that your subconscious is trying to tell me thing while in a sleeping state. I really believe it's my minds way of being bored while my body is recouping from the day.

That being said... my dreams are simple and probably just like yours. I dream of being peaceful, being happy about everything, not being stressed, and being able to inspire. I dream of one day being a mother, an aunt to more than one nephew, a grandmother, and hopefully a great-grandmother. I dream of growing old with my husband. I dream of having the perfectly stocked fridge and pantry for any recipe I'm feeling inspired to do. I dream of having the talent to do the cakes that I imagine in my head and make them taste stellar! I dream of standing in a beautiful perfect kitchen and being inspired to make good food. Traveling to far off lands (speaking of, I need to see about getting my passport) and enjoying local cuisine and wine and of course beer.

This is my bucket list... an other things... oh that would be a good blog... stay tuned for that one once my 30 day challenge is over!!!! I also remind myself to work towards these every day. I also remind myself of what I have that has been a dream. I have a job I love doing something that I've wanted to do for a while now, I have a wonderful husband who is my everything, I have a perfect little home (that is waiting for the perfect little family), I have health and happiness and I'm working on more peace. I said a few days ago that I was meditating more, and I must say, it keeps me happy.

If you take one thing from this post today, I hope you dream and I hope you take a moment to appreciate what you've dreamed of that is now you reality!!
